The crowds led by MP’s Sujeewa Senasinghe, Rosie Senanayake and Buddhika Pathirana are now headed towards Mr. Wickremesinghe’s office at 30, Marcus Fernando Mawatha. The roads in the area are completely blocked as a result.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror online the OIC of the Cinnamon Garden's police said that the procession would be allowed to proceed without hindrance. Shiral Lakthilaka an organiser of the protest said that the first stop would be the Opposition leaders office and they would make a decision about the progress of the protest once they reach there.
