Water Supply disrupted in Mahara and Gampaha until Saturday morning

Colombo, June 19 (Daily Mirror) - Water supply to the Mahara Pradeshiya Sabha and Gampaha Pradeshiya Sabha areas has been suspended from today (June 19) until 8.00 a.m. on Saturday (June 20) due to a sudden rupture in the main water supply line near the Kadawatha Central Expressway.

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said water bowsers will be deployed to provide water to affected residents and minimise inconvenience.

The Board expressed regret for the disruption and urged consumers in the affected areas to use water sparingly until the supply is restored.
