I never prepared alone to take over the nation in 2022: Ranil

Colombo, July 16 (Daily Mirror) - He never prepared to take over the nation by himself during the crisis in 2022 but took over as it was his responsibility, former President Ranil Wickremesinghe said. 

"I was not the first choice to take over the nation during that time. I had to take over as no one else was willing to do it. I must have been the fourth choice," he said during the talk 'Read with Ranil' organised by the UNP.
