Three die, one hospitalised in a fire at house in Katugastota

A father, daughter and her boyfriend have died after a fire broke out in a house at Menikkumburawatte in Katugastota this morning, Police said.

Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said that the mother of the daughter was injured in the incident and was admitted to the Kandy Hospital.

He said the house was compleetly destroyed due to the fire and the police is investigating to determine the cause of the fire.
