Colombo, June 10 (Daily Mirror) - An individual was arrested with a vast range of forged documents during a raid condcuted by the Nugegoda Division Crimes Investigation Unit on a house at Maha Buthgamuwa in Kotikawatta.
Police carried out the raid on intelligence information received from the Army Intelligence Service.
The 43-year old suspect is a resident of the Gothatuwa area.
The forged documents seized by the police included birth certificates, school leaving certificates, business registration certificates, GCE O/L and A/L certificates, degree certificates, JP certificates, Grama Nildhari certificates, medical certificates, vocational training certificates etc.
Investigations revealed that he had charged about Rs.10,000 for a forged document.
The Nugegoda Crimes Investigation Unit is conducting further investigations.
