Special traffic plan in Borella for Cardinal’s 50th jubilee ceremony

Colombo, July 6 (Daily Mirror) - Special traffic arrangements will be in place in Borella tomorrow evening in view an event commemorating the 50th priestly jubilee of His Holiness the Cardinal.

The ceremony, scheduled to be held at the Colombo Archbishop's House in Borella, will be attended by a large number of invited guests, including religious dignitaries, government officials and members of the clergy, police said.

To ease potential traffic congestion, heavy vehicles will be restricted from entering the stretch from Kinsey Road Junction and Ward Place to Nandadasa Kodagoda Junction within the Borella Police Division, between 3:00 PM and 9:00 PM on the day of the event.

Police urge motorists to use alternate routes.
