Sajith takes to the streets

A tense situation has been reported after a protest march led by the Leader of the Opposition Sajith Premadasa was stopped by the police at Independence Square in Colombo this morning.

A group of opposition MPs including Sarath Fonseka and Patali Champika Ranawaka launched the protest march.
