Roshan Ranasinghe to step down as State Minister

State Minister for Provincial Councils and Local Government, Roshan Ranasinghe has decided to resign from his Ministerial portfolio with effect from 01 May 2022.

In a letter to the President, he said that he would also resign from Polonnaruwa District Organizer Post of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna from May 1.

In his letter, he urged the President that compensation and fertilizer subsidies for farmers to be given before SInhala and Hindu New year.
