Report on container clearance scam to be presented to Parliament soon

Colombo, July 8 (Daily Mirror) - The report of the committee that investigated into the container clearance scam will be presented to Parliament soon, Deputy Minister Anil Jayantha told the House today.

He added that a debate on the report could be held once it is officially presented.

"The report referred to by MP Mujibur Rahman is one that was circulated on social media. There are concerns regarding the accuracy of that particular version," he said.

Responding to this, Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa said the report can be tabled in Parliament even today.
