Remaining Grades in Govt. Schools to resume next week: Dinesh

Academic activities in remaining Grades in Government schools will resume next week, Education Minister Dinesh Gunawardena said today.

He told Parliament that steps were taken to resume schools in stages after the country was reponed on October 1.

The Minister said schools were reopened after all the 240,000 teachers were vaccinated with both doses of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Primary sections and grades 10 to 13 in Government schools have already resumed academic activities. (Ajith Siriwardana and Yohan Perera)
