UNP MP Ranil Wickreremsighe today said he will move an amendment to the no-confidence motion against Minister Udaya Gammanpila and thereby convert it into a no-faith motion against the entire cabinet.
“My amendment is to convert the motion into a no-faith motion against the entire government,” he said,
Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene advised Mr. Wickremesinghe to move the amendment at the end of the debate. “ You will have to move it during the end of the debate,” the Speaker said. (Yohan Perera and Ajith Siriwardana)
