Rajagiriya accident: CCD ordered to conclude probe and inform court

The Colombo Chief Magistrate Court today ordered the Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) to conclude the investigations into the Rajagiriya accident and inform the court.

Earlier, the Court issued a travel ban on former Minister Patali Champika Ranawaka and his driver over the Rajagiriya accident which occurred in 2016.

However, Additional Magistrate Neranjana De Silva today said MP Ranawaka and the driver could inform the Court before leaving abroad. (Yoshitha Perera)
