Colombo, July 5 (Daily Mirror) - Train services on sections of the Mannar and Upcountry railway lines remain suspended due to track obstructions caused by adverse weather, the Disaster Management Centre said.
They said train operations on the Mannar Railway Line remain suspended between Mannar and Medawachchiya as railway tracks continue to be blocked.
On the Upcountry Railway Line, train services are not operating between Rambukkana and Nanu Oya due to blocked tracks. However, trains continue to run between Ambewela and Badulla.
The DMC advised passengers to check with the Sri Lanka Railways for the latest service updates before travelling, as restoration work is continuing in the affected areas.
