President to accept cabinet resignations today

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa is expected to accept the resignation letters of the cabinet of ministers today once it is officially handed over to him by Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa. 

The ministers last night signed their resignation letters and handed it over to the Prime Minister at Temple Trees, and the Prime Minister is expected to meet the President today to officially inform him of the cabinet resignations. (JAMILA HUSAIN)
