President meeting with TNA cancelled again due to SJB protest

The long awaited meeting between President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and the members of the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) which was to be held today afternoon has been cancelled yet again due to the SJB protest, the Daily Mirror learns. 

Senior sources in the government confirmed the meeting will not take place, as the SJB protest will kick off at 2pm. The TNA meeting was scheduled to be held at 3pm. (Jamila Husain)
