Police sergeant shoots himself near Kotawila Court

Colombo, Feb 27 (Daily Mirror) - A police sergeant shot and killed himself using his service firearm near the Kotawila Court complex.

Police said the 52-year-old sergeant attached to the Kotawila Police Station had returned to work after reporting sick for a long time.

He committed suicide today in the police post of the Kotawila Court Complex.
