One injured in shooting in Matara

Colombo, August 3 (Daily Mirror) - A shooting incident was reported in the Kapugama area of Matara this morning (August 3), leaving one person injured, police said.

According to initial reports, two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle opened fire at the victim while he was at his residence. 
The injured individual, a 48-year-old man, was rushed to the hospital and is currently receiving treatment. 
Matara Police launched an investigation to identify the suspects.
