Nuwara Eliya April Festival will be held: C.B. Ratnayake

Minister of Wildlife and Forest Conservation C.B. Ratnayake said Nuwara Eliya April Festival would be held despite of whatever problems in the country.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony of the Nuwara Eliya Premier Cricket Tournament organised by the Nuwara Eliya Cricket Association yesterday, he said the festival would include a series of funfairs.

He said the police will have a responsibility to provide protection to the large crowds of tourists from far and wide attending the festival.
