No scheduled power cuts till tomorrow: PUCSL Chairman

The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) has decided not to have scheduled power cuts today and tomorrow.

PUCSL Chairman Janaka Rathnayake said the decision was taken due to having sufficient fuel, furnace oil, and water stocks in reservoirs.

However, the Chairman requested consumers to use electricity sparingly during peak hours (6.00 pm to 10.00 p.m.). (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
