NPC approves transfer of SSP Shani Abeysekera

The National Police Commission (NPC) today approved a request made by Acting IGP Chandana Wickremeratne to transfer Criminal Investigation Division (CID) Director SSP Shani Abeysekera.

NPC Secretary Nishantha Weerasinghe told the Daily Mirror that the request was made to transfer the SSP as the personal assistant to the Southern DIG.
