Kurunegala Magistrate orders Mayor to handover all files on destructed archaeological site

On Application of the Attorney General, Kurunegala Magistrate has ordered the Kurunegala Mayor to handover all files pertaining to the destructed archaeological site to the safe custody of the Court, AG’s Coordinating Officer State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne said.

On a further Application of the AG, the Magistrate ordered the Governor of North Western Province to handover all files and minutes of the City Development Committee to the safe custody of Court.
