Iranian woman arrested with Rs.10 Mn worth foreign currency

An Iranian woman was arrested by the Customs officials at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) last night while she was attempting to smuggle foreign currency worth more than Rs.10 million to Doha.

They had also taken into custody jewelry worth Rs.1.5 million which was in her possession. (T.K.G. Kapila)
