Presidential secretariat dengue drive

A Shramadana campaign was held this morning (27) by the Presidential Secretariat in support of the National Dengue Prevention Programme, with the participation of officials from the Presidential Secretariat and the Prime Minister's Office.

The clean-up drive was organised to encourage government institutions to maintain a clean environment and help prevent the rapid spread of dengue across the country.

The campaign covered the area surrounding the Presidential Secretariat and extended along the Beira Lake and Baladaksha Mawatha up to Temple Trees.

Chief of Presidential Staff Prabath Chandrakeerthi, Senior Additional Secretary to the President Roshan Gamage, Secretary to the Prime Minister Pradeep Saputhanthri, and officials and staff of the Presidential Secretariat and the Prime Minister's Office took part in the initiative.
