Ex-CID Director Shani Abeysekara, SI Mendis further remanded

Former Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Director Shani Abeysekara and Sub Inspector (SI) Mendis further remanded till August 20 by Gampaha Magistrate’s Court today.

Both suspects were arrested and remanded for their alleged involvement in fabricating evidence in connection with a weapon case. (Yoshitha Perera)
