Doctor Maheshi’s daughter remanded

Hemali Anithra Wijerathna, daughter of Dr. Maheshi was ordered to be remanded till July 9 on charges of issuing death threats to the Assistant Director and an investigating officer of the Bribery Commission, following the conclusion of a court case involving Dr. Maheshi.

The suspect was arrested today by the Keselwatta Police and produced before court.
