DGHS says election can be held: Romesh de Silva informs SC

President’s Counsel Romesh de Silva informed Supreme Court that the Director General of Health Anil Jasinghe had informed his client presidential secretary that the election can be held amidst current situation in the country.

Making his submissions on the seven Fundamental Rights (FR) petitions filed challenging the General Election date and the dissolution of Parliament, President’s Counsel Romesh de Silva appeared on behalf of the respondent, Secretary to President P.B.
