Covid deaths exceed 6,000 mark

Sri Lanka’s total COVID-19 deaths exceeded 6,000 with the announcement of 161 more fatalities that occurred yesterday.

A total of 161 more COVID-19 related deaths that occurred yesterday (14) were confirmed by the Director-General of Health Services today pushing the death toll to 6,096.

According to the Government Information Department,78 females and 83 males are among the deceased.
