Dinal Edirisinghe wins National Table Topics Speech Contest

Colombo, July 02 (Daily Mirror) - Dinal Edirisinghe has been crowned the winner of the National Table Topics Speech Contest conducted by District 82 of Toastmasters International at “The Ovation” District Convention held at the Shangri-La Hotel, Colombo.

The annual impromptu speaking competition, held on May 16 and 17, tested contestants' confidence, spontaneity, storytelling ability, and skill in thinking on their feet. This year's participants delivered speeches based on the theme, “The crack is where the light enters.”

Following his victory, Edirisinghe expressed gratitude to his club, The Millennium Toastmasters Club, for its encouragement and support throughout his Toastmasters journey.

Professionally, Edirisinghe is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Surmount Ventures, a management consulting firm, and Serendipity Travels, an inbound travel company. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the National University of Singapore.
