Covid-19 cases rise to 1094, recoveries reach 674

Five more Covid-19 infected patient was reported increasing the total cases in Sri Lanka to 1,094 while 14 Covid-19 patients were recovered and discharged from hospitals, the Health Ministry said.

They said the recovered Covid-19 patients in Sri Lanka has now increased to 674.

The latest Covid-19 patients reported from the Trincomalee quarantine centre, who are returnees from Kuwait. 

Another 411 patients are still under medical care at 8 hospitals.
