Counting of votes for General Election begins

Counting of votes for the parliamentary election 2020 commenced at a short while ago, officials said.

Elections Commission Chairman Mahinda Deshapriya said yesterday the overall voter turnout for the General Election 2020 stood at 71 per cent.
