Chief Epidemiologist Dr. Sudath Samaraweera has been transfered.

He has been appointed as the Director of Dengue Prevention Unit, Health Services Director General Dr. Asela Gunawardane said.

He said consultant Epidemiologist, Epidemiology Unit of Health Ministry Dr. Samitha Ginige was appoited as the Acting Director of the Epidemiology Unit.
