Dayasiri, Kumara Jayakody stage showdown in Parliament

Colombo, June 26 (Daily Mirror) -Opposition MP Dayasiri Jayasekera and former Minister of Power and Energy Kumara Jayakody engaged in a heated argument in Parliament on the issue of inferior quality coal. 

The argument flared up when MP Jayasekera said indictment has been served against Jayakody on the issue of inferior quality coal. Jayakody who stood up, shouted at Jayasekera saying, "You cannot utter things just because you have a foul mouth."  

Jayasekera, who responded, said the case is pending before court. 

"You don't have to get agitated," he also said.
