COVID-19 recoveries rise to 712: 332 sailors among them

Seventeen more COVID-19 infected patients were recovered and discharged from hospitals today increasing the total number of recovered patients in Sri Lanka to 712.

Accordingly, nine patients undergoing treatment at the Navy Hospital, four from the Colombo East Base Hospital, three from the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) and one from the Homagama hospital were discharged.

The Health Ministry said that 460 patients are still under medical care at hospitals.

Meanwhile, the Navy said 19 more naval personnel who were infected with Covid-19 were discharged from hospital yesterday increasing the total recovered naval personnel to 332.
