CMC says fresh vaccine stocks for first doses not received

The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) said today that they were presently administering only the second doses of the COVID-19 vaccines on persons who received their first jabs last month and the first week of June. 

Regional Epidemiologist of the CMC, Dr. Dinu Guruge said the CMC had not received fresh stocks to administer the first doses on more people as yet.

She said they would probably re-start to administer the first doses by mid July or August.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)
