Brother-in-law arrested for sexual abuse on 14-year old girl

A 37-year old man has been arrested over sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl in Colombo, National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) said.

The NCPA said the suspect is the brother-in-law of the victim.

He was arrested following a complaint received by the Special Investigation Unit of the National Child Protection Authority.

He was produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court and remanded till July 23 on charges of molesting a minor.
