Boat tragedy: Three drown in Arayampathy

Three persons who were fishing in a lake in Arayampathy, Kattankudy, went missing after their boat capsized this morning, police said.

They said five persons had been on the boat when the tragedy occurred and two of them had escaped unhurt while the others went missing.

Kattankudy police had recovered the bodies of the missing three individuals this evening.

The deceased aged 18, 19 and 20 were residents of Arayampathy.
