Anura to be questioned soon: Minister

JVP leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake will be questioned soon over the incident where Mohammed Ibrahim , father of two suicide bombers, Mohamed Ilham and Mohamed Insaf, who were involved in the Easter Sunday attacks, being nominated from the JVP’s National List, Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekara said today.

The Minister told the media after an event held in Colombo that it was revealed that Mohammed Ibrahim and his two sons had donated over Rs. 30 million to Zahran Hashim to carry out the attack.

“Mohammed Ibrahim and his two sons have provided over Rs. 30 million to Zahran Hashim to carry out the attack. Mohammed Ibrahim was in the JVP’s National List. JVP Leader Anura Dissanayake will have to make a statement on this very soon,” he said.(Ajith Siriwardana)
