All public transport services back to normal All transport services, including trains, Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB), and private buses, resumed their services from 6.00 am today after the police curfew imposed by the government on Saturday has been lifted.
Accordingly, Railways Deputy General Manager Gamini Seneviratne said all office trains are back on track as usual, however, long distance trains delayed their run one hour later.
The SLTB Chairman said their buses belong to all depots are also back on the road as per the scheduled time tables.
Meanwhile, private bus owners say that 15% of the existing fleet has begun operation as of today.
They said after the supply of diesel yesterday - after waiting in the long queues from designated SLTB depots, the buses have resumed operation. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
