Accomplice of ’Bloemendal Sanka’ arrested with Italian-made revolver

An accomplice of organized criminal Sanka Shirantha alias Bloemendal Sanka, had been arrested with an Italian-made revolver by the STF during a raid at Pannipitiya in Maharagama.

The 46-year-old suspect arrested was handed over to the Maharagama Police Station for further investigations.

It has been revealed that Thotalaga Chana, a close associate of Bloemendal Sanka, who is currently abroad, had given the firearm to the suspect before he went abroad.
