4,643 teacher  appointments before next school term begins: Edu. Ministry Secy.

All arrangements have been made to appoint 4,643 teacher trainees who have entered the National Institute of Education (NIE) from 2017 to 2019, the Education Ministry Secretary, Prof. Kapila Perera said.

He told the Daily Mirror that arrangements have already being made to make all appointments by the Education Ministry.

Prof. Perera also said the appointments will be made before the end of April, along with the commencement of the new academic term. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
