35 incidents of election law violations within three hours

Colombo, September 21 (Daily Mirror) - Thirty five cases of election law violations were reported during the first three hours after polling began at 7.00 am today, according to a polls observer group.

People’s Action for Free and Fair Elections (PAFFREL) said illegal propaganda activities and 
influencing voters are among them.

Of them, 25 were confirmed cases. One unconfirmed assault case was also reported.
