COPF, COPE battle for Committee rooms in Parliament

Colombo, June 24 (Daily Mirror) - The Committee on Public Finance (COPF) and the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) are in a battle over the sharing of the Committee room, it was revealed today. 

COPF Chairman Harsha de Silva told Parliament that work carried out by his committee has come to a standstill as the COPE had wanted the committee room from Tuesday to Friday from morning till evening. 

"Committees do not own rooms in Parliament," he said.
