3,871 election law violation cases reported so far

The Election Commission said that it has received a total of 3,871 complaints of election law violation pertaining to the upcoming General Election as of yesterday evening.

It said 832 violent activities had been reported to the National Election Complaint Management Centre while 3,039 complaints had been reported to District Election Complaint Management Centres.

In the 24 hours ending at 4 p.m on Saturday, 187 violations of election laws had been reported.
