Two Blue party stalwarts have fallen out following a dispute relating to an office room, they say.
The responsibility of resolving the problems of party members who call at the party headquarters on a weekly Public day, had been entrusted to a stalwart from Rajarata by a party bigwig. So, the stalwart had asked for an office room where he could carry out the work.
Later, a secretary of the Rajarata stalwart had after a look-over, chosen a suitable room at the headquarters for the purpose. However, the party secretary had refused to release the room chosen for the Public Day work.
The Rajarata stalwart who got disgusted at the attitude of the party secretary had informed the party chief and several party seniors about the matter and the latter had taken up the position that the party secretary had done wrong by refusing to release the office room.
Now the Public Day has ceased to operate due to this dispute, they say.
