Ven. Kottawe Premaratana Thera passes away at 84

Chief Sanghanayake of Salpiti Korala, Chief Incumbent of Moraketiiya Paramadhamma Temple in Pannipitiya and Depanama Sri Devadhara Temple Venerable Kottawe Premaratana Thera passed away yesterday at the age of 84.

He had rendered an outstanding service to the Buddha Sasana and the nation as well. He was the former Chairman of Maharagama Conciliation Board and the inaugural President of Pannipitiyia Sasanarackshaka Bala Mandala.   

The cremation will take place at 3 pm tomorrow (Saturday 21) at Erawwala Vijeyasiriwardhanarama grounds.
