Top academic personality passes away

Prof. W. N. Karunadasa, retired professor of International Relations, History and Political Science at the Colombo University, and former ambassador to Qatar, passed away on Saturday. He was a political analyst and contributed several articles to newspapers. He was also a one-time National Housing Commissioner. His remains lie at 182/3 Hill Street, Dehiwela. The funeral will take place today.
