Parents seek help for infant’s life-saving liver transplant

Lahiru Chathuranga Fernando and Chanika Hansani Fernando are urgently appealing for public support to save their five-month-old son, K. A. Kevindu Damsilu Fernando, who needs a liver transplant.   

Doctors at Ragama Medical Faculty have recommended the surgery. The estimated cost of the life-saving transplant is approximately Rs. 1.5 million, a sum the family is unable to afford on their own.   

The family is seeking kind-hearted donors to help cover the cost and give their child a chance at life.
