My speech has been distorted:Minister

Minister of Industries  and Entrepreneurship Development Sunil Handunneththi yesterday said his speech at the World Economic Forum in China had been distorted by some persons  with vested interests. 

The Minister told Parliament that he had only pointed out Sri Lanka’s potential and resources to advance economic development.

“I only  pointed out that Sri Lanka has what it takes to  move the economy towards development . For example, Batticaloa has an airport that remains unused — We must develop such infrastructure and thereby make full use of it ” he said.
