KDU Student falls to death from the rampart at Galle

A student from the Kotalawala Defence Univerisity had fallen down the Galle Rampart and died. The victim Thawalama Gamage Janith Chandrapala (21) was a resident of Hapugala in Wakwella.

He was rushed to the Karapitiya hospital by the police only to be pronounced dead. Police said the student had visited the ramparts with several of his friends, when he met with accident. Galle police are conducting further investigations.
