Another suspect in Middeniya triple murder arrested

Another suspect wanted in connection with the triple murder on February 18, at Middeniya was arrested in the early hours of last morning at Katunayake International Airport.   

Police said the suspect had fled to India after the incident only to be arrested by the Indian police and deported. He was arrested by the CID when he arrived.   

Anura Vidanagamage alias “Migasare Kajja” and his two children had been shot dead by a gunman riding a motorcycle.   

Police said the suspect Kulasinha Liyanage Pemal Indika, was taken into custody yesterday at the airport. He is alleged to have transported the gunmen on his motorcycle to the location of the murder. He is a resident of Weeraketiya off Tangalle.
